Welcome to UUP!

United University Professions at Stony Brook represents the 2200 men and women who work every day to educate, support and care for our students, our colleagues and our community. Statewide, UUP represents the over 34,000 members at 29 SUNY campuses. We are affiliated with New York State United Teachers (NYSUT), The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the AFL- CIO.

Our chapter is committed to doing everything we can to provide you with opportunities to learn (our many and varied programs) to network and meet (our social events) and to contribute (through our committees and the work they undertake).

We are your colleagues, we want to know what you need, what you think and how we can better serve you.
