A special election will be held over the next two months, so that the membership may elect their highest leadership, and to ensure that positions have voting representation at the UUP Statewide level.
In June, our Executive Board appointed Zebulon Miletsky as Vice President for Academics and Rita Nezami as Officer for Contingents to ensure continuous representation until a special election could be held. The timeline for the special election to officially elect a VP Academics and an Officer for Contingents is outlined below.
- Physical mail nomination forms are mailed out of Albany 7/21-7/22
- Nomination forms are due back in Albany 8/23
- Election ballots are mailed out of Albany 8/25-8/26
- Election ballots are due back in Albany 9/21
- Election ballots are counted 9/22-9/23
